Duties and Responsibilities

Legal Consultancy; It is a main service unit established in accordance with Article 51 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547 and Articles 26 and 35 of the Decree Law No. 124 on the Administrative Organization of Higher Education Supreme Organizations and Higher Education Institutions. It is directly affiliated to the General Secretariat and the Rectorate. It is responsible for representing the University in judicial and administrative authorities in disputes with third parties and institutions, protecting and defending its rights. It also provides consultancy services within the University on legal matters.

*To assist the administration in carrying out the University's savings in accordance with the applicable laws,

*To represent the institution in all kinds of lawsuits and enforcement proceedings in which our University is a party before judicial and administrative authorities, to carry out legal procedures to protect the rights of the institution,

*To provide legal opinions on matters requested by the Rector's Office and other units of our University,

*To provide legal consultancy when necessary within the scope of disciplinary investigations conducted against our University staff and students and criminal investigations conducted against our University staff,

*To provide opinions on the regulations and guidelines issued by our University, if requested.
